Mike's House
A fairly uneventful night that again began with the age old
question of how many pizzas to buy.
This time, two large fed four with only one slice of the second pizza
eaten. Go figure.
A short recap;
1. Dwight was laid off but expects to have another job soon. Believe me, he
has
never looked so relaxed.
2. Mark bailed with an excuse so lame and so humiliating to the entire male
species,
I refuse to repeat it.
3. Dave's builder, who now has to contend with Dave, may soon wish he were
back in jail.
4. Brian P is now the proud adoptive father of Derrick.
5. Rob's son Andrew, is transferring from Lynn in Boca Raton to
UMass Dartmouth.
6. Bryan, usually reliable, was busy driving Gabe to a performance in Providence
7. Me? Life is just as boring as ever.
The question asked by more than one person: Don't we make these dates a month
in advance so that everyone will show up? Didn't we change our poker night
to
Thursday, to accommodate Mark who has Fridays off? Okay, no more whining..
Pictures scanned from slides taken at my house in 1985

Notice how carefully Wayne protects his down card. Notice too, how I'm
pretending not to look.

Still trying to get a good look at Wayne's hand...but who is
that heavy guy to my right?

I don't know who the photographer is but this
new angle gives a better shot of Doug Roffer who dropped
out shortly after the flour incident.

Rob off in deep space, Mark before he had become fully domesticated.
Addendum: Wayne died September 22nd, 1991. Rob's 50th birthday
is this September. Perhaps we should have
a memorial service for both.
